Speak Softly And Carry A Big Stick
I surmised that the first word on the sign was composed of capital letters and the last word was Inc. I looked through the Western Union locations in predominately Chinese neighborhoods with the last word "Inc". There was only one. I called them and asked if they carried MegaMillions and if their awning was green and white. They didn't speak English. I asked again in Cantonese. Bingo. I can't imagine what the clerk was thinking when I asked what color their awning was.
I called my friend Michelle who was not far from the presumed site, and asked her to take a look. That's her in the above picture with the ten foot stick I provided. She was kind enough to not only "guard" the electro-graf for me, but to help me whack it down. See? Who says you need to be tall? You just need a couple big sticks and a willing friend.

And I do! This time with mop- here's the story.

That's awesome that you guys got a couple. I've been on the lookout for one. A few weeks ago, before the whole Boston thing happened, some friends and I saw one up on a lightpost in the Haight. We just figured someone did it as a little project and put it up there. Later that night, as I was riding home, I rode past that spot and saw some drunk dudes trying to get it down. I yelled at them to leave it alone because that was someone's work. Had I known that they were part of a marketing campaign, I would have stolen it myself!
