Safire saw Western Union on the sign, the Lotto's MegaMillions, and Chinese characters. Safire went to westernunion.com and searched for locations in San Francisco. It was impossible to cross reference Western Union locations with MegaMillions because the Lotto's site wasn't working properly. So Safire imported the picture into Photoshop and ran it through the sharpen filter. It helped only slightly.
I surmised that the first word on the sign was composed of capital letters and the last word was Inc. I looked through the Western Union locations in predominately Chinese neighborhoods with the last word "Inc". There was only one. I called them and asked if they carried MegaMillions and if their awning was green and white. They didn't speak English. I asked again in Cantonese. Bingo. I can't imagine what the clerk was thinking when I asked what color their awning was.

I called my friend Michelle who was not far from the presumed site, and asked her to take a look. That's her in the above picture with the ten foot stick I provided. She was kind enough to not only "guard" the electro-graf for me, but to help me whack it down. See? Who says you need to be tall? You just need a couple big sticks and a willing friend.

Video: Show us a clip from your favorite cartoon.

I was wandering through flickr when I came across this gorgeous piece of electronic artwork.

The electro-graf features a Mooninite named Err, one of the characters from my favorite Cartoon Network show: Aqua Teen Hunger Force.  I was planning on making one of my own when I discovered that it was part of a nationwide guerilla marketing campaign.

400 electro-grafs featuring Err and Ignignokt aka Iggy were surreptitiously made, distributed, and displayed in cities throughout the United States by Interference, Inc. as advertising for the Adult Swim late night lineup show.

Without further ado, I present "Operation Iggy Freedom".  As a fan of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, I've made it my mission to save these poor hapless souls from the cold wet San Francisco winter... and well, from being blown up by the Boston Police Department. I saw on CNN last night that Boston's finest thought that they were incendiary devices! Batteries and wires do not a bomb make.

If anyone finds one of these, please let me know by email, phone, or telepathy. (The former two being the preferred methods. My telepathy connection has been slow this month).
Here is Iggy in San Francisco. Does anyone know where this is?
